    Hurricane Boris Regains Strength

Hurricane Boris was the first hurricane of the season. The name Boris was used for so many times. In fact, it has been used for five tropical cyclones in the Eastern Pacific Ocean. This hurricane was formed near Baja California and it was headed west into the Pacific. It was formed as a tropical storm and then it reached its hurricane strength on July 1 with a maximum sustained winds of at least 75 miles per hour. Hurricane Boris was classified under the Category 1 hurricane and it was headed toward Hawaii, but the weather anticipated that it would not to make landfall as a damaging storm. The U.S National Hurricane Center reported that Boris regained its hurricane status after losing it for a short amount of time. They expected that Boris would lose its strength and it was anticipated to downgrade into a tropical storm in just a few days before it would make landfall.
