Hurricane Omar was a strong hurricane that took an unusual movement of southwest to northeast path through the eastern Caribbean Sea. On October 13, It formed as a tropical disturbance. The eye was fully developed and it began to move in a northeast direction with a maximum sustained wind of 135 miles per hour. Omar strengthened and it was considered to be a hurricane. The government warned the residents for the possible casualties that the hurricane Omar has done. Omar was classified under the Category 1 hurricane that has a sustained winds of 75 miles per hour and it is expected to gain more strength. It caused so much flooding in different parts of this area. A number of trees were downed and those branches of trees were scattered in the road. Because of hurricane Omar, at least three cruise ships had no choice but to change course and flights were forced to cancel. If hurricane occurs, it is important to be calmed and not to panic in order for you to think wisely for the possible solutions or ways on how to survive.
