With the controversial position attain by the United States on the previous hike in H-1B visa fee and the outsourcing with the Obama administration, foreign secretary Nirupama Rao has evoked India’s concerns. To settle the agenda for President Obama’s upcoming visit to India in November, Nirupama Rao went to the Washington meeting with the senior member of the Obama administration. The U.S. secretary of State Hillary Clinton, the American counterpart U.S. Undersecretary of State William Burns and members of the Commerce department was met by Rao.

She raised some issues in the meeting and these concerns is regarding with the Indian industry. Ted Strickland, Ohio Government of Democratic Party restricted outsourcing on August arguing that this damaged business consequences and eroded economic growth for his country. Due to this action, it increases L1 and H-1B visa fees for foreign firms, especially outsourcing giants from India as this controversy has been announced. The move will cost India’s IT industry with $200 million per year and it will ruin the U.S. and India’s economic partnership.

The ban will not have any bearing on US-Indo business partnership and proclaimed that the ties of both regions was imperative, said by Timothy Roemer, U.S. ambassador to India. However, searching to minimize the ban on outsourcing cut by the government of its Ohio State. The same actions in the past have not disturbed Indo-US partnership that has developed to a far greater stage, he added. As U.S. Trade Representative Ron Kirk meets Commerce Minister Anand Sharma at the joint Trade Policy Forum on September, outsourcing-related concerns are assumed to figure in larger detail.

Rao added that she raised that concerns in a number of meetings and she was able to deliver to them the issues that was very serious for the Indian industry and was noticed as an increase in protectionist sentiment in the United States, they wanted an answer in that issue. However, the sense that they are in the meeting was the relationship of the U.S. and India has obtained a relevance and a dimension that involves a number of fields and concerns that need to solve and to know the purpose of the partnership.

She added that the U.S. and India are both against terrorism, and they are very similar when it the topic is Afghanistan. They are both against in extremism and they observe the need to overcome it, aside from that they are for democratic, development and stability in Afghanistan and the improvement they gave in that region. She saw growing convergence instead of the differences.

To make the firms that transfer call centers abroad unsuitable for grants or secured loans from the federal government, a bilateral bill has been submitted to the United States House of Representatives. This action aimed at the rising the tide of work heading to regions like India and other outsourcing countries.

The United States Call Center Worker and Consumer Protection Act declared by Rep David McKinley and Rep Tim Bishop, the bill would also settle several threatening mandates on call center operations.  According to Rep Tim Bishop, outsourcing is one of the terror of the United States economy and they don’t know why they are struggling so to dump on the unemployment rate.

Not only would customer service representatives that work abroad for United States companies have to expose their place upon request beyond the protectionist legislation. They also have to propose some option to their callers if they want to be transfer to call centers back in the United States, it is based on the Huffington Post report.

Before moving a call center abroad, the companies are required to give 120-day advance notification. On the other hand, the affirmed legislation request the Secretary of Labour to keep a list of employers that transfer their call center work abroad. This call center bill has a tough back up from CWA or the Communications Workers of America, a union that represents almost 150,000 call center employees in the United States.

The bill is particularly aimed at the restrain jobs and developing more employment in the United States same as the call center have been doing in the outsourced countries said by the Nasscom Vice President Ameet Nivsarkar. The bill could hurt the United States economy, Mittal felt. The outline of the bill will obviously hurt the American firms that operate call center in regions like India.

CFO of Mphasis, Ganesh Murthy said that it will definitely an issue however he think that it is a type of protectionist measures that was being built up in the run up to the presidential election in the United States this year. The action will not affect any BPO companies like Mphasis that does not have any agreement with the international call centers.

The union claimed that outsourced call centers that involves some based in India set a severe security threat as there are not enough safeguards in the location to hold off fraud, it was according to the recent report of the CWA. Few examples of security breaches containing outsourcing call centers like in India and other outsourcing regions, the report was entitled as Why Shipping Call Center Jobs Overseas Hurts Us back Home.

This is an urgent emergency alert to all the people of the United States. The UNited States government has mastered the corrupt way of giving them a false sense of freedom. They think that they are free and can do what they want, homework in the reality that they are very limited and restricted as to what they can do, how they can think and even how their education is obtained. A bill of rights is a drafts of the most essential right of the citizens of a country. The purpose of this bills is to defend those rights across infringement. There are lots of bill in a certain country in the world wherein people should follow it. If not there will be a punishment.

There is a bill now that was announced last year, October 26, 2011 in the United States House of Representatives, by Representative Lamar Smith and a bipartisan group of 12 initial co-sponsors. Lamar Smith is one of the US Representative for Texas 21st congressional district, serving since 1987. The bill that was introduced in the United States is SOPA or Stop Online Privacy Act, this is one of the two bills being considered by congress today, the other one is Protect IP-Act. This is to develop the qualification of U.S. law enforcement and copyrighted intellectual property and counterfeit goods. SOPA is to promote prosperity, creativity, entrepreneurship and innovation by combating the theft of US property and for other purposes.

The SOPA bill states that there shall be no liability for destruction to any services providers, payment network providers, Internet advertising, service advertiser, Internet search engine or domain name registrar for taking any action across the clients for violation described in the bill.

The actions here could accommodate barring online advertising networks and payment facilitators such as Paypal from doing business. The bills make unauthorized streaming of copyrighted content a crime with a maximum penalty of five years in prison for ten pieces of music or movies within six months.

SOPA has cause and effect. SOPA or Stop Online Piracy Act may cause websites hosts to avoid allowing the adding of captions to videos. This will be a blast of innovation killing lawsuits and litigation. If this bill passed in its original form, it will absolutely have a substantial effect on the Internet, jobs, companies and people. The chilling effect would mean less captioned online videos for people who are deaf or hard hearing. It is sad that SOPA is cancer for the free web.

The previous bill before SOPA is Stop American Censorship. Congress is about to pass Internet Censorship even though the vast majority of Americans are opposed. They need to kill the bill to protect their rights to free speech, privacy and prosperity.

There is an argument’s in SOPA, arguments in favor and arguments against. Arguments in favor are protecting revenues for content creators and protection against counterfeit drugs. In arguments against, there is a threat to online freedom of speech, negative impact on web hosting service, general threat to web related business, threat to users uploading content, threat to internal networks, threat to open source software, ineffectual against piracy, etc. This threats or arguments against have a big effect on the society and industry.

SOPA has supporters and opposition. Supporters are politician and companies, in opposition there is a politician also, the house minority leader Nancy Pelosi has expressed opposition to the bill and there are representatives and presidential candidates that warn that the bill would cause an explosion of innovation killing lawsuits and litigation. One of the oppositions also are the organizations like Yahoo! Google, Twitter, AOL, LinkeIn, DynDNS, Mozilla Corporation, eBay and more.

The Anti-SOPA activists find ways to keep the Internet free, over the Internet as Americans ready for a legislation that will impose a government-sanctioned firewall, the elite computer-literate activists attacking the law are finding ways to circumvent the passing of SOPA or Stop Online Piracy Act. The users will be able to keep a roster handy of the digits that can be typed to dig up sites even as a risk as Google.com. In order to get around such filtering, activists have already begun circulating lists that chronicle the IP-addresses of popular websites that could censor on SOPA.

In numbers hell hath fury like a computer nerd scorned, activist a legislation that will severely censor the Web are waging a war with supporters of the Stop Online Piracy Act and their strength is quickly swelling. To American people, both Congress and the Internet have been lately with the Stop Online Piracy Act or SOPA, a bill which will allow the US government to erect a firewall across the Web and largely limit what websites are accessible to American people. By SOPA supporters, while the debates on Capitol Hill might be fitted boring and are largely sponsored by the millions of lobbying dollars sent. The Internet is offering a no-holds-barred battleground to make sure that the bill does not make it to legislation. SOPA are tackling the act, but taking it where they know best the World Wide Web.

With recent approval of the National Defense Authorization Act, hackers quickly dived deep into the Internet to begin prying out personal details from supporters of the law that allows the US government to indefinitely detain and torture Americans without charge, but while a blow to constitutional rights is one thing, taking away the Internet is a whole new can of worms. The lists are circulating around the Internet advertising the list of organizations supporting the SOPA legislation, allowing advocates for an open Internet who the bad guys are in the battle for free speech and online access. Activists against the act have unleashed largely on its supporters already as threats of SOPA being passed increasing day by day.

Encouraging online entrepreneurs to move their personal websites off of GoDaddy.com, the websites Reddit.com is helping organize a campaign to crush the code, the largest domain registrar on the Web who also happens to be a supporter of SOPA. The Internet guru that helped bring the I Can Has Cheeseburger meme to the mainstream, one person who has signed on for the down with GoDaddy campaign is Ben Huh. Ben Huh tweeted that he will move all 1,000 domains owned by his company. He also said that SOPA is a cancer to the free web. The GoDaddy seemed to think otherwise, however, and originally said that SOPA will only help0 the Web, they are grateful that the committee agrees that it’s time TO increase enforcement action because of US businesses are hurting and those of them in the Internet ecosystem are in a unique position to help.

While major corporations and other groups have lent their support, specifically the Motion Pictures Association of America, SOPA has come under criticism from all over the Web for the implications it could have on the future of the Internet and Information sharing as they know it. The Stop Online Privacy Act or SOPA could squash sites across the globe for sharing material protected otherwise under copyright laws, which while established with good intentions, could carry hefty penalties and fines for people that wish to stream music or watch footage as innocent as home recordings of video gameplay.

The google has previously attacked the proposed legislation, it says that it would be a big blow to freedom of speech and freedom of press guarantees under the United States Constitution. The ACLU stated that the passing of the act would establish a Great Firewall of America on par with the restrictions in play in China and wrote in a letter earlier, by instituting the practice in the United States, SOPA sends an unequivocal message to other nations that it is acceptable to censor speech on the global Internet.

Google does not want to directly stop free speech on the Internet. They just want to make it near impossible for sites to operate. To everyone online, electronic Frontier Foundation legal activist Trevor Timm tells Forbes that the implications an addendum including this is the SOPA or Stop Online Piracy Act proposal could be detrimental. Timm stated leaves up-and-comi8ng start ups in a difficult position if they do not have a lawyer to deal with this and gives big companies a huge advantage.

Even a blockade that keeps contribution through Visa, Mastercard and Discover accounts from coming through has managed to make operation difficult, although not impossible for WikiLeaks. In 2010, Julian Assange’s site managed to pull in around $2 million in charitable donations and a computer glitch this summer allowed for Visa users to submit contributions for only a few hours, during which the site raked in upwards of $100,000. Oyamja argues against current legislation that has been proposed and noted that under SOPA, some people would think twice about establishing business in the first place, with a new proposal possibly putting a choke hold on revenues, some people might not think at all about new online ventures. The Stop Online Piracy Act is a bill that was introduced in the United States House of Representatives last year October 26, 2011. The bill provides immunity from liability to the advertisement and payment networks that comply with the Act that take voluntary action to cut ties to such sites.

Without any objections while activists waging for a free Internet advocate against the possible passing of the Stop Online Piracy Act or SOPA, the US court system is already favoring bug business by thwarting third party competition. The US court system has attacked websites that employed unauthorized usage of a major label’s branding, specifically True Religion clothing, Channel cologne and Philip Morris. By the Cigarette giant, prosecution for Morris lobbied to have several websites and their contents and funds seized and transferred without the defense ever able to present a case.  Without a just trial ever being carried out as Congress debates the provisions that could make up the controversial SOPA bill, it looks as if the US courts are already shutting down websites for what could be considered unauthorized use or infringement.

A District Court judge Nevada, in the case against websites advertising allegedly counterfeit Chanel products. With the legitimate manufacturer to seize around 600 domain names that were related to, but not affiliated. Restraining orders and injunctions were handed to the biggest search engine and Web companies in the world barring sites including the Google and Yahoo from indexing or linking to the sites in questions. The federal judges allowed Channel to seize the domains and transfer them to US-based registrar GoDaddy without any say from the defendants. With the real due process the kind of result would not happen. The website Techdirt.com has been following the cases and note that to see the excessiveness in the cases, one does not have to go much further than to realize that based solely on the declaration of a Philip Morris employee, the court is ordering the full transfer not just of websites, but of any funds being sent to a website.

Techdirt calls it essentially a kill switch for the allegedly-guilty websites in the case of True Religion court ruling, which were found at fault with once again no due process. The Congress is debating whether it should impose a similar cloak over the Internet as a whole, causing for any site to allegedly broadcast copyrighted material to be seized and the administrator to suffer from immense fines and jail time. In court irrespective of the legislation, the fight against SOPA may be a red herring in some ways, writes Balasubramani, since IP plaintiffs are fashioning very similar remedies. Even if SOPA is defeated, it may turn out to be a Pyrrhic victory opponents may win the battle, but may not have gained much as a result.

Over the Internet as Americans ready for a legislation that will impose a government-sanctioned firewall, the elite computer-literate activists attacking the law are finding ways to circumvent the passing of SOPA or Stop Online Piracy Act. The SOPA will leave a Capitol Hill soon and seemingly cloak the Internet with Congress created blockades that will shun every user of the World Wide Web from a whole slew of content if the House and Senate have their way. In the content, this includes music, videos and in a nutshell, knowledge. Violation will yield massive fines and imprisonment under the legislation all for such action as uploading videos to YouTube. On the web, while the legislation is being delivered as a way to deal; with copyright infringement and piracy, the law itself will severely cut down the free flow of information online and would make something as simple as singing karaoke a crime if the footage ever an audience on the Web.

In the very near future which could make it come to life. The Congress approved the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2012. a legislation that allows for the indefinite detention and torture of American citizens. Activists against SOPA realize that the censorship should not be something that they’d put pass Capitol Hill with being shackled at Gitmo a real-life threat now. In the preparation, the source aligned to the online collective Anonymous, they are preparing for censorship much like China. Under SOPA, the government is believed to go after the Web by means of attacking the Internet’s domain naming system or DNS. That is the process that translates the actual, alphabetical domain name from a series of numerical characters, the Internet protocol IP Address. As the realities of SOPA passing becomes an Orwellian threat almost coming to life, computer users are quickly taking to the Web to spread information to other surfers on how to sneak pass the firewall that could cause censoring the Internet.

Users will be able to keep a roster handy of the digits that can be typed to dig up sites even as at risk as Google.com. In order to get around such filtering, activists have already begun circulating lists online that chronicle the IP-addresses of popular websites that could censor on SOPA. SOPA emergency lists have been spread around the Web in recent days via Twitter and viral messaging. Allowing users to save a list of sites as innocent as DIGG.com or The Onion that are just as prone to having the plugged pulled on them than anyone else.

Google and other big web companies should not exp0ect the battle to end with a little snafu in the financing of the sites in question. Given the support that anti-SOPA and PIPA activists have received this month alone, big Internet is a force to be reckoned with. The law possible when the National Defense Authorization Act was approved, activists were quick to wage an all out campaign on the lawmakers who helped it to be possible. The personal information and private details relating to the politician that voted in favor of NDAA have made its way around the Web.

The US House of Representatives is drafting much discuss aboutSOPA or Stop Online Piracy Act. SOPA that was introduced in the United States House of Representative last year that is October 26,2011. The bill develops the ability of US law enforcement and copyright holders to fight online trafficking in copyright intellectual property and counter field goods.

Proponent of the bill says, it conserve the intellectual property market and assimilate industry, jobs and revenue. It is decisive to bolster enforcement of copyright laws especially across foreign websites. The opponent says that in infringes on First Amendment right is Internet censorship will cripple the Internet and will enforce whistle blowing and other free speech. After transporting a court order, the US Attorney General could depend upon US directed Internet service providers advertisement also bar search engines from displaying links to the sites. The bill would enable the US Department of Justice to seek court orders across websites outside US jurisdiction accused of infringing on copyright or enabling or facilitating copyright infringement.

In recent weeks they discovered BitTorrent Pirates at the RIAA, Sony, Fox, Universal and even law abiding organizations including the Department of Homeland Security. In organizations all across the world, YouHaveDownloaded is a treasure trove full of incriminating data on alleged BitTorrent. Even in the most unexpected of places, unauthorized downloads occur from the palace of French president via the Church of God to the RIAA. The US House of Representative stated that although they do not plan to go on forever trawling the archives, they felt that there was at least one place that warranted further investigation. They wondered show many of the employees there have engaged in unauthorized copying since it’s the birthplace of the pending SOPA bill on BitTorrent.

On BitTorrent in total they found more than 800 IP-address assigned to the US House of Representative from where content has been shared. After a closer inspection, it quickly became clear the House is not just using it for legitimate downloading. They list a few of the 800 hits that they found on YouHaveDownloaded which in turn represent just a fraction of total downloads since the site only tracks a limited percentage of total BitTorrent traffic. This is real and confirmed data that just as good as the evidence used by the RIAA when they appeal tens of thousands of people to file sharing. In the house, something that immediately caught their eye are the self-help books that are downloaded. The people at the heart of democracy are also downloading familiar content including Windows 7, popular TV-shows and movies. Books aim to be popular in the House because they found quite few more such as Do not open, an Encyclopedia of the World’s Best Kept Secrets and How Things Work Encyclopedia. There was another category that aside from self-help books, House employees are also into adult themed self-help videos. They list one of the least explicit, but that is just the tip of the iceberg.
